Student Scholarship Application 2024

If you are under 30 years old and would have difficulty paying the full tuition, you are invited to apply for a full scholarship for Session 2, August 19-25, 2024.

Scholarship applicants can be total beginners! No experience is necessary, just a strong willingness to learn.

This scholarship (for full tuition of $975), includes instruction, a cubic foot of limestone, the use of hand tools (hammer and chisels) during the week, and lunch each day. The class is held outside. Each student has a covered work area and a work table.

Each student is exposed to the various skill levels of the other students in a supportive and friendly environment. Each participant works on their own project with plenty of personal instruction along the way.

We offer this scholarship to introduce a young person to the world of stone carving and working with one’s hands in the hope that this experience will serve them throughout their lives. The student will be working alongside other participants who will be eager to assist with their learning process.
